My children are such fans of Nutella that it has become a staple in our pantry. Milk, bread, bananas and Nutella always seem to be on the top of our grocery list. They love it so much that I have been looking for new ways to incorporate it into treats and desserts for them.
Here are some of our favorite Nutella recipes:
These shortbread cookies are yummy enough for the kids but grown-up enough that you want to serve them during a girls’ luncheon. I absolutely adore them!
“These cookies are buttery and crumbly just how how I like my shortbread. If you are not a Nutella fan (are there any out there) the cookies are simply delish on their own. If you are a Nutella fan, I highly suggest you spread this chocolatey goodness on these cookies, I promise you won’t be sorry.” – mybakingaddiction.com
Tidy Mom’s Nutella Crêpes – Need I say more? Seems as though everywhere I go, people are talking about Nutella Crêpes. Even shopping with my sister and nephew a few weeks back, several women were talking about the crêpes at IHOP.
Salted Nutella Fudge adapted by Toffee Bits & Chocolate Chips from a Giada recipe. Can I simply say, even the thought of rich, creamy Nutella and Sea Salt makes my mouth water? Oh. My. Sweet, rich and just the perfect touch of sea salt. Ladies, this is “I’m having a DAY” type of recipe. It makes the angels sing. Listen.. can you hear them??
Nutella Cupcakes with Nutella Buttercream
“It’s a Nutella nation lately. Nutella is everywhere: in cookies, on toast, topping graham crackers and being baked into brownies. This time I baked it into the cupcake and then topped the whole thing off with more chocolate and hazelnut spread. Take it a step further and pipe some unaltered Nutella straight into the center while the cupcakes are still warm before frosting. You’ll have the ultimate Nutella cupcake surprise.” – babble.com
Easy and kid-friendly, these are my children’s favorites; Nutella Rice Krispie Treats, Nutella Fudgesicles & No-Bake Nutella Cheesecakes. Lil Man can’t get enough of the fudgesicles, the Queen adores the cheesecakes and the baby, she loves the rice krispie treats.
Let me leave you with one more of MY favorite recipes…
Nutella & Mascarpone Grilled Cheese Sandwich on Brioche
Sophisticated and sinful!
Aimee at Sweet & Saucy suggests using cardamom in place of the cinnamon her recipe calls for. Fantastic! Seriously, if you have cardamom, skip the cinnamon and give it a try instead.
